
Brooks D. Adams passed away on March 14, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Springfield, Oregon. He was born January 25, 1942 in Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee.
Brooks enlisted in the Air Force in 1962 and spent 22 years as an air traffic controller. He was stationed in Germany, Greenland, Japan and numerous bases throughout the United States including, Shemya, Alaska.
Throughout his life, Brooks enjoyed bowling in many leagues and looked forward to working with the bowlers when he himself wasn’t bowling. He also loved to fish. In the earlier years, it was the ocean then lake fishing.
Brooks is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Toni Van Nocker of Yreka, CA; Kristine Alley (Steve) of Mt. Shasta, CA; Kim Harkner of Hopewell, VA; Tracy Adams of Kannapolis, NC; step sons Troy Dailey of La Mesa, CA; Todd Dailey of Murrieta, CA. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister Betty Cole (Rick) of Douglas, GA; brother Benie Adams (Sue) of Alachua, FL; Bob Adams (DeeDee) of Thomaston, GA and sister in law Kathy Coughlan (Carl) of Oregon City, OR.
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of their choice in Brooks memory.
