Alfred Lavern Whisenhunt born November 22, 1931 passed away at Sutter coast Hospital on June 9, 2022. Alfred moved to Crescent City in the 50’S from Mena Arkansas. Alfred married Marilyn Whisenhunt and was married for 54 years. He worked in the timber industry for 50 plus years. Alfred loved to fish and hunt, drink beer and spend time with family and friends.
Alfred is survived by his children Donna and Robert Butler of Crescent City, Bonnie Whisenhunt and Leo Lambert of Lake Charles LA, Joyce Embree of Crescent City, Noah Whisenhunt of Grants Pass, OR, Tina Woodhull and Jeffery Davis both of Crescent City.
He also leaves behind his 11 grandchildren Garry & Wendy Hepburn of Springfield OR, David Sellars & Christy Ewing of Lake Charles, LA, Heather & Shala Bolen of Crescent City, Travis Sellars of Lake Charles, LA, Nathan Lake of Redmond OR, Aaron & Dori Embree of Prineville, OR, Lewis Embree of Bend, OR, Brent & Rachenda Thompson of Fort Benning, GA, Brice Thompson of Crescent City, Nathan and Hailey Whisenhunt of Grants Pass, OR, Stephanie Embree & Robert Beckner of Redmond OR.
Including his 13 great-grandchildren Dylan Conway, Alexis Conway, Ashley Sellars, Hannah Hepburn, Haley Sellars, Trask Hepburn, Nathan Whisenhunt, Riley Ashoff. Great grandchildren Adien Bowlen, Aiden Wells, Layla Ashoff, Bexley and Renan Thompson and many nieces and nephews.
Alfred is proceeded in death by parents Noah and Iva Whisenhunt, wife Marilyn Whisenhunt, brothers Jimmy Whisenhunt, Everett Whisenhunt, Adreath Whisenhunt, sister Julie Worell, sons Alfred Wayne Whisenhunt and Jerry Davis.
