Evelyn Ruth Westerman, 83, passed away on May 17, 2012 in Crescent City, CA. She was born on February 22, 1929 in Cloverdale, CA.
Evelyn was homemaker. Family, grandchildren and her church were the most important part of her life. She was a very active volunteer in the Awana Childrens Ministry at the Fort Dick Bible Church and was a Deaconess and choir member of the church.
Previously, Evelyn was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church in Sacramento where she was a Deaconess, a Sunday school teacher and choir director.
Evelyn had a green thumb, she loved spending time gardening and she also enjoyed playing the piano, as music was a large part of her life.
She is survived by her husband Herb Westerman, children Elizabeth Stinson, David Westerman, Robert Westerman, Christine Chipchase, Edith Reynolds and Jonathan Westerman. Evelyn also leaves behind her 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at the Foursquare Gospel Church on Wednesday, May 23rd, at 11:00 am.
