Leon R. Walker of Brookings, Oregon passed away on Saturday, July 21st at the age of 81. A native of California, he was one of seven children born to Marjorie and Milford Walker in Los Angels, CA.
Leon attended Woodrow Wilson High School in LA and later due to his mothers poor health went to work full time caring her and his siblings. He became an accomplished businessman, having worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years. Leon opened coast Auto Center in Brookings, Oregon in 1977.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling throughout the US in his motor home, traveling abroad, playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, engaging in light-hearted political discussions, watching old movies and FOX NEWS!
Leon was known to his friends and family as generous, loving and supportive.
He is survived by his brothers Darryl and Kenneth along with his three children, Carol, Lorraine and Ron. Seven Grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
At his request, no services will be held.
