Stacie Marie Perez was born on April 3, 1971, to Ruth Goode and Rod Hinde in San Francisco, CA. After living in the greater Bay area, her family moved to Klamath in 1987. On her 20th birthday (April 3, 1991) she gave birth to her precious daughter, Sasha Ann Marie.
After returning to the Bay area, Stacie met and married Edgar Michael Perez on December 31, 1993. They had two sons together, Matthew Rodney and Michael Robert Perez. The family started together in Redwood City before moving to Vallejo in 1996. In 2001 the family moved to Crescent City, where Stacie spent the rest of her life. After 18 years together Edgar and Stacie separated and divorced but remained close friends. Stacie met Brad Bennett in 2014 and they were together until May 9, 2022, when Stacie suddenly passed away.
For those that had the pleasure to have known her this is a huge loss. Stacie had unconditional love for her family, friends and especially her daughter. Stacie was an outstanding member of this community for over 20 years, going above and beyond for everyone as a Senior Tax Advisor and Specialist for H&R Block.
As the sun sets on a beautiful day, so too does an angel have to part this world to return to heaven. The world is a little darker without her in it, but those she loved will shine brighter for having known her.
