Muriel' first love was Art. She loved to paint and make any kind of decorating different things floral arrangement, restoring furniture, painting Murals on walls. Her house has Castles, and lighthouses on four walls, just because she wanted.
Muriel 's last fifty years were spent with her second love married to Hank Northrip. Muriel, and Hank moved quite a bit. Where Muriel continued, with her Art, in every place she went, Art was her release. She was commissioned to do a book of Olof Wieghorst, paintings which she signed as "as done by Muriel Northrip" the collector who commissioned the work wasn't too happy, but he paid for them anyway.
Muriel took part in painting several Murals. Ace Hardware, the Swimming pool, etc. Her favorite mural was the Chartroom’s "lady's room”, with Garretta Lamore, and Doris Dalbec, she hopes that all you ladies enjoy.
Muriel never knew a stranger, for once she met you, she was a friend This not a bad trait, but her family were FDR Democrats, which she tried to get Hank to become a Democrat, she lost battle, but she kept trying.
Muriel had two sons by her first marriage Dan Apted, and Steve Apted. One stepdaughter Nora Northrip, and one stepson Jason Northrip. They were all loved the same. From these Muriel, Kids have gone forth, and multiplied leaving many eyes to cry for her. Muriel always put others first and love everyone, especially her husband Hank Northrip.
